Coastal Expeditions is a group of dedicated naturalists using kayaks, paddleboards and boats to get people into beautiful places. We love what we do and it is our mission to share the blackwater, rivers and salt marshes with you. We also operate the Bulls Island Ferry to Cape Romain Wildlife Refuge. Founded in 1992, we are Charleston's original outfitter and we have set the standard for environmental education and stewardship in this region of the country.

The Upcountry is an outdoor adventure paradise. Whitewater rafting on the Chattooga River, kayaking on Lake Jocassee, exploring dozens of waterfalls, and hiking the Foothills Trail are a few of the many opportunities available.
